Rate limits
How Spoofy keeps traffic fair — what happens when you send too much too fast, on the API and in the chat.
Spoofy limits how fast requests may arrive — per API key, per account and per connection — so one busy client can't slow everyone else down.
On the API, SMM endpoint and MCP server
- Go over a limit and the request is refused instead of being carried out — nothing is charged. On the REST API that's HTTP 429 (too many requests). Wait a moment and try again, and back off further if it happens again.
- Placing many orders very fast, sending wrong keys and asking for many sign-in codes are limited more tightly than reading the catalog.
- Order writes are safe to retry with the same
Idempotency-Key: a retry never charges twice.
The exact numbers can change as we tune them. If a legitimate integration keeps hitting a limit, ask in the chat.
