Counts can drop after delivery; drops aren’t replaced. Views stay on a story for as long as it is up; platforms can remove views they judge artificial. What a drop is.

While your story is up. Instagram stories expire after a day, and views go only to stories that are still there.
Does my account have to be public?
Yes, while the order runs. A private account can’t be reached, and what wasn’t delivered goes back to your balance.
What if only part of an order arrives?
